The 3rd Annual ERN LP Run – 2012

On the crack of the starting pistol everyone began running as many Revolutions Per Minute (laps) of the track as they could during 33 and a third minutes, all the while listening to top tunes from the 1960s, 70s and 80s. The music soundtrack had been selected by runners as part of the entry form and most people will have heard a snippet or more of their favourite running track.

Marathon RelayGB

The Marathon RelayGB was a mammoth undertaking. A relay, around Britain, each leg 26.2 miles, running non-stop for 18 days. ERN answered the call for runners and opted to run a leg with a team of four runners. Krista organised a team comprising herself, Giuliano, Mike and Murdo.

The 2nd Annual ERN LP Run – 2011

Well done to everyone who came along and either ran, counted laps or supported ERN’s 2nd annual LP Race. An excellent day all told. More or less double the numbers from last year, 23 superb entries into the cake-competition, good tunes and “Barry the Gun”! Oh and it stayed dry as well!

The 1st Annual ERN LP Run – 2010

This event was the brainchild of Heather Jones and is based on a similar annual event run in Houston Texas (2010 was their 43rd anniversary) which Heather had previously taken part in while working in the USA. The event is pretty straight forward; you try and run as far as you can in 33 1/3rd minutes round a 400metre track.
