The Little ERN 10K is probably our longest established route/event, having been staged every December since 2004.
In 2004, 2005 and 2006 the event was run as a normal race, the winner being the fastest round the hilly route. In 2007 however, the format was changed to enable anyone to go home with a prize, not just the fast ones. Prior to the start, each runner predicts their time and must then run the route ‘naked’, without the aid of watch. Whoever completes the run closest to their predicted time wins.
