Linlithgow 10K 2012

The Linlithgow 10k is a challenging, undulating but scenic route around the town, the loch, and the palace, and even crosses over or under the M9 four times! Cool but bright conditions, ideal for running, brought out lots of support for this lovely local event.

Mary said : Did the Linlithgow 10k on Sunday. Definitely the toughest one I’ve done, all hilly and humply and Im sure there was much more uphill than down! But its also the prettiest one Ive done. Route was gorgeous and pretty sure I’d run it again. Its a figure of 8 route and most of it is out in the countryside or round the loch mainly on roads or paths. A few bits on dirt or grass paths as well just for a wee change. It finishes up beside the loch, behind the palace. Great atmosphere at the end especially and plenty support on the way round too.
