Saturday 19 February saw the last of the three event ERC Winter Duathlon Series take place at Kirkliston. Willie Stobie was out once again to complete his hat-trick for this year’s series, one of only 25 competitors to do so, while Rachel Moir turned out to compete in her very first multi-sport event!

Rachel said : “It was my first duathlon and I really enjoyed it, although it was a bit of ‘spot the rookie’ as I asked ‘what is a transition??’ – in my head it was just cycling and running! Definitely worth another go and doable by beginners.”
Well done to both
