A good turnout (18) on a clear, cold and blustery Sunday morning for our first run from Warrender Baths on Thirlestane Road. A nice route (although a bit humply!) included a trip up to the Observatory on Blackford Hill before descending to the Hermitage of Braid, Glenlockhart, Oxgangs, Colinton Mains Park, Braidburn Valley Park and back via Braid Avenue and Whitehouse Loan. There was a choice of a 7.5 or a 4 mile route and this Southern jaunt afforded views of the city that all were not familiar with. A few stayed behind for coffee and brownies at a nearby establishment in Marchmont Road. Happy days!
