I sported my Porty vest for this one, as being a club race there was a great crowd of familiar faces at the event. The Crieff 10k is a multi-terrain race along gravel and forest paths through some beautiful countryside. The first 3k comprise a steady ascent, quite steep in places, and a bit dodgy underfoot due to the rocks and roots, but a gorgeous scenic route the whole distance. The event was well marshalled and the although overcast was dry and bright throughout. Sponsored by The Famous Grouse, the goodie bag was a whisky glass and miniature of Macallan. A well-organised 10km with some really stunning views.”
