It is possibly Scotland’s most scenic 10k and this year at least definitely the wettest. Enter on the day for £7 which includes a medal and unlimited sandwiches and tea after wards. The course is an out and back through Loch Fleet Nature Reserve down to the Dornoch Firth (where I took second photo) and back again. We were up to our ankles in water in places trying to get out the way of the fast guys heading back. It’s a narrow road! I loved it though especially as my time of 56.03 was only 18 seconds slower than first time I did it seven years ago. Adrienne also had a good run and got a PB of 60.56.

Cheers

Gillian”
