Mike said: “On Sunday 27th June, 13 of us turned out at Leith Victoria Baths for the 11 miler out to Silverknowes and back. A lovely day, but a bit warm, which spread the field and resulted in one or two putting in an extra mile or so when they chose different routes towards the end of the return journey.
In contrast to the previous Sunday, July 4th was cool and wet but Alan, Chris, Eirwin, Phil, and I completed the 12 mile route from Portobello Baths, the sun coming out just in time for the finish, while Emma, Fi, Fraser, Heather, Laurence and Tracy did an 8 mile route.
On Tuesday 6 July, Chris, Eirwin, Karen, Tracy, Val and I, accompanied by Jo as far as Portobello, ran a 6 and a bit mile route from Meadowbank, taking in Portobello Prom, Milton Road, Duddingston, the ‘Bastard Steps’, and Holyrood Park.”
On Sunday 11 July 13 out from Glenogle Baths; a bit of sun, a few spots of rain and more than a bit of wind in places, followed by coffee at Coffee Angel!”
