Gillian Grant ran Musselburgh on Saturday in 52.24 and Donkey Brae on Sunday in 1.01.08. Very well done on both accounts on what are testing courses.
Gillian said : Mussellburgh is a cracking little race which takes you off the road and along the coastal paths behind the race course looking over to Fife prior to finishing in front of the stadium. It only costs a £5 to enter which is excellant value as this years momento was a high quality glass paper weight.
Donkey Brae is a lovely course with several rather testing hills in it but what goes up must come down and the commentator is very good at giving every one a name check as they head up for the finishing line
The photo is from Donkey Brae and, with Gillian (196), the guy is Steve Blair, who runs with Corstorphine, and the lady is Isobel Pollard, who runs with Middle Meadow Milers.
